This past March, we had the pleasure of welcoming Cam from Aircrew Skincare—more widely known as Cameron—to our CTKCLIP headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Between tours and meetings, Cam sat down with us for a quick chat about his journey with our MOQ1K service, the story behind Aircrew Skincare, and what’s coming next.

Skincare at 35,000 Feet

Aircrew Skincare was created to meet a unique need in the beauty world: skincare that works in the air. Dry cabin environments and long flights wearing makeup can really take a toll on the skin—especially for flight attendants. Cam shared that the idea started close to home. His mother, a flight attendant in New Zealand and a former beauty therapist, had spent years searching for something that could protect her skin mid-flight. Nothing quite worked. Most moisturizers didn’t hold up in low humidity, and layering makeup only made things worse. That’s when the search led to CTKCLIP.

Partnering with CTKCLIP

Looking to develop a formula that could truly perform in dry cabin conditions, Cam from Aircrew Skincare partnered with CTKCLIP. It was impressive to see that we were able to deliver a formula tailored to his specific needs—while still meeting the small-batch MOQ of 1K. At CTKCLIP, we’re proud to offer high-quality formulations at low cost, even in low-volume production—making it easier than ever for brands to launch with confidence. We worked closely on everything—from product development to packaging—to bring the concept to life.

In-Flight Moisturiser: Made for the Skies

The result of this collaboration? The In-Flight Moisturiser—a product developed and tested by over 100 flight attendants, specifically for the conditions of air travel.

It’s more than just hydrating. The formula helps reduce Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL), strengthens the skin’s natural barrier, and doubles as a makeup primer—so makeup goes on smoothly and stays on, even in dry cabin air.

Designed to Fly

The thoughtful approach doesn’t stop at formulation. Aircrew Skincare’s packaging features aviation-inspired details, like a front-facing “window” and sky-blue tones. A clear nod to its origins and its K-Beauty roots, the packaging proudly highlights that it’s Made in Korea. The brand also created a custom keyring that’s become a subtle icon among crew members. It clips onto flight bags and serves as a quiet signal to others in the aviation world—almost like a badge of skincare survival.

Real Feedback from the Skies

The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Flight attendants love how the cream keeps their skin hydrated without interfering with makeup. Even passengers have started to take notice—and ask to try it. To help more people discover the product, Cam and the team are working on sample sachets—perfect for in-flight testing and word-of-mouth sharing among crews.

From Small Beginnings to a Growing Lineup

Aircrew Skincare started with a single product, but now we're working together on what comes next. A refreshing face mist—ideal for in-flight use—are currently in development, as we continue working together to find the perfect formulations. What’s Next?

So, what’s next for Aircrew Skincare and CTKCLIP? “A face mist,” Cam smiled. “Something refreshing that flight crew can use during flights—hydrating, but super lightweight. I keep coming back to Korea because we’re just getting started.” And we’re excited to keep flying together.
